Subject Line: Design resources we couldn’t live without
There are few things with this email that are very, very right. It’s beautifully designed for mobile, with a single-column layout, great visuals, nice large headlines under each image, and super-short article descriptions/teasers.
But the winning element in this email has got to be the novel approach to the call-to-action on each button. There’s not a “Read more” or “Click here” in sight, which are pretty standard button-copy for B2B emails.
Instead, the call-to-action on each and every button is customized specifically for the content item it accompanies, and written with a humor and wit that you can’t help but smile at, and frankly, it makes the buttons a thousand times more clickable than had they been your generic “Read more” or “Click here” types. So cool.
