With about half of all emails being opened on mobile devices as of the beginning of 2014, it’s never been more important for email marketers to adopt a “mobile-first” approach when creating their emails. Whether you use responsive email design or other best practices aimed at optimizing the email experience on a mobile device, the point is that it’s no longer OK for email marketers to just ignore mobile optimization considering the ongoing growth of the mobile email audience.
